Who is Coach Dave Academy ?
Coach Dave Academy was founded by a professional racing driver, David Perel, who began with games like Gran Turismo and progressed into real motorsports. Recognizing the potential of sim racing to improve real-world driving skills, he started coaching sim drivers and sharing his insights on YouTube.
During the COVID pandemic, he launched Coach Dave Academy as sim racing gained mainstream attention. It now offers coaching, car setups, and engineering sessions supported by expert drivers and engineers. The Academy has also developed “Delta,” an app that helps sim drivers track lap times, review telemetry, and access professional setups for multiple games.
