Wheelbase settings for RaceRoom

A major graphics update has just transformed RaceRoom, bringing it up to modern standards, along with the exciting addition of DTM 1995 cars and tracks. With this overhaul, there’s never been a better time to dive into the free-to-play from 2013 sim, and we’re here to ensure that Asetek users will get the best experience possible. Let’s get started!

Remember that these settings are intended to be a stepping stone for further fine-tuning. Try our settings and adjust them according to your preferences.

This setup has been created to suit all three of our wheelbases. However, we will provide specific settings for specific wheelbases in certain cases.

RACEHUB SETTINGS

Steering Range: 540° (try it out and change it to what fits your preference)

Damping: 0%

Overall Force:

Invicta: 27 Nm

Forte: 18 Nm

La Prima: 12 Nm

Bumpstop Hardness (Invicta & Forte): Soft

Bumpstop Hardness (La Prima): Medium

Friction: 10%

Torque Behavior Prediction: 1

Bumpstop Range: 0°

Inertia (Invicta): 1

Inertia (Forte & La Prima): 2

Torque Acceleration Limit: Max

High Frequency Limit: No Limit

Cornering Force Assist: Off

Anti-Oscillation: 0%

Let’s look at the in-game settings in Raceroom.

RACEROOM SETTINGS

Force Feedback: Checked

Inverted Force Feedback: Unchecked

FFB Strength (Invicta): 55%

FFB Strength (Forte): 70%

FFB Strength (La Prima): 80%

FFB Minimum Force: 0%

Maximum Force (Invicta): 80% (not maxed out in order to stop heavy forces while still getting the details of the 27 Nm)

Maximum Force (La Prima & Forte): 100%

Stationary Friction: 50%

We have set the ‘Immersion’ settings to 0%. These are very subjective, so try to fine-tune them for your preferred experience.

Notice that if you want the in-game wheel to match what is going on with your actual wheel, you can adjust the ‘Steering Animation’ setting in the ‘Graphics’ section. Remember to input the same value as the one from earlier’s ‘Steering Range’ setting to make them line up.
