Asetek SimSports launches Next-Gen steering wheels and pedals to provide ultimate sim racing experience
Denmark, Aalborg – 4 March 2025 – Asetek SimSports is excited to announce the launch of its Next-Gen collection, which includes new variants of its popular La Prima and Forte steering wheels, the re-launch of the Invicta Pedals, and the release of the Dished Suede Rim. The Next-Gen collection expands on the company’s commitment to offering a dynamic range of options, ensuring that you can customize your setup to match your racing style.
La Prima and Forte Steering Wheels
The La Prima steering wheel has been updated with a black and gray color variant so that you can have a sleek setup as you dominate racing tracks around the world. Each button and encoder has been ergonomically placed, to both ensure that they’re easy to distinguish during those adrenaline-fueled races and so you won’t accidentally activate them when you’re taking on those tight corners.
With the new Forte wheel’s updated aluminium buttons and encoders, ultimate realism has never looked better. You can customize and map all buttons, switches, encoders, and paddles to create a steering wheel that fits you the best and helps you make those split-second decisions to seal the victory.
Asetek SimSports’ steering wheels utilize an injection-molded chassis composed of carbon, glass, and plastic composite material. To reinforce the overall anti-flex and create a proper interface for the removable handles, the chassis features a metal spider interface. This guarantees a rigid, non-flexing steering wheel that allows you to change handles over time, ensuring the wheel always suits your needs perfectly. With Asetek SimSports’ open eco-system and customization options, you can create an experience that will elevate your sim racing performance.
Dished Suede Rim
Embark on your sim racing adventure with the Dished Suede Rim. The dish design makes the button box recessed by just the right amount, meaning you can take those wild corners and let the wheel return without the risk of any unintended button presses. The luxurious texture of the genuine suede will provide a soft yet robust feel that will offer you a tactile connection to the digital asphalt, enhancing your control and grip.
Invicta Pedals
The Invicta Pedals are re-launching with a new version of Asetek SimSports’ groundbreaking T.H.O.R.P.™ Hydraulic brake cylinder that truthfully replicates the sensation of real-life race car
brakes. The T.H.O.R.P.™ II allows for a wider array of adjustability in terms of pressure and travel and will replace Asetek SimSports’ current selection of Invicta Pedals. The design is engineered with user experience in mind, where all adjustable elements are colored to get you started quickly and to guarantee intuitive and mostly toolless usage. The sim pedals are highly adjustable to help you channel your inner racecar driver, by changing the travel and hardness settings to your exact preference.
