John Hamill

As Chief Operating Officer John Hamill is responsible for Asetek’s daily operations, including sales and marketing, engineering, and operations.

His sales and marketing-driven approach to running the business builds on Asetek’s entrepreneurial spirit and history of developing innovative, high-quality and reliable solutions that are designed to meet customers’ needs.

John has a proven ability to create cutting edge business strategies and to develop, manage and mentor high-performance teams to implement those strategies and drive growth. He and his team drive Asetek’s liquid cooling products from inception to delivery. He leads a 70-person global team based in Denmark, USA, China and Taiwan.

John is a seasoned business executive with more than 30 years’ experience working in the high-tech industry in diverse roles in engineering, sales and marketing. Before being appointed COO, John served as Asetek’s Vice President WW Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining Asetek John held senior roles at nVidia and AMD. A native of Scotland, John holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He is based in Austin, Texas.
