Does the radiator require being mounted in a certain orientation?
No, it does not. In conjunction with our flexible tubes, Asetek water coolers can be installed to fit within the unique configuration of your system. The liquid cooler does not perform any better or worse with the liquid cooler in a specific orientation.

What can I do if my pump is making a gurgling sound?
Don’t be alarmed if your Asetek liquid cooler occasionally makes a gurgling sound. It is the sound of air that hasn’t made it to the built in traps in the radiator. The air typically works its way out on its own and the sound disappears fairly quickly. In some rare cases you may need to detach the radiator from the chassis and give it a gentle shake to loosen up any air bubbles.

How can I tell if my liquid cooler is powered on?
Asetek Power CableIf the liquid cooler’s power cable has been plugged into a motherboard fan header (see image), the unit should always be running when your system is powered on.

A quick way to confirm the liquid cooler is operating is to touch the tubes while the system is powered on. You should feel the slight vibration of water cycling through the tubes.

Additionally, you can confirm the pump speed in your BIOS or a fan monitoring system inside Windows. The pump should display a reported speed of 1400RPM, which is half the actual speed.
